The Santa Clara Review is thrilled to announce that Volume 113.1 will feature writing and art focused on California. As one of the oldest literary magazines in California, we invite you to consider the vast geographic, cultural, political, and technological landscapes of the world’s fourth largest economic region. From Hollywood to the Mojave, from the redwoods to Silicon Valley, from migrant workers to tech bros, California offers dreams and illusions for everyone. We prompt you with this: What are your perceptions, your dreams, your experiences of California? Any and all works about The Golden State—past, present, and future—will be considered.
Submissions will open for Volume 113.1 on September 1st and close on October 15th.
The Santa Clara Review is a biannual literary magazine published by undergraduate students at Santa Clara University. Previous contributors to the Review include Frederick Luis Aldama, Thomas Lux, Reyna Grande, Alexandra Teague, Amer Kobaslija, Carolyn Forché, Vladimir Kush, Arisa White, and Tongo Eisen-Martin
